Grandmother is Mary Elizabeth ORDERS Born Nov 17, 1921 St. Marys, Auglaize County, Ohio Died Dec 28, 1999 Wampekoneta, Ohio Buried In Elm Grove Cemetery there. Married to 1. HOLT, 2. WHITE, 3. ORDERS. Looking for these husbands. Her maiden name was GOODWIN and her father and mothers names were Alva W. GOODWIN and Vonda CRAMER GOODWIN. Any advise or help trying to find her husbands greatly appreciated. I have her obituary. It says her children were Jackie ORDERS (Reiger), Pamela Sue ORDERS (Pennington), Atoyia Ray ORDERS, and Jason ORDERS. She had a sister named Elizabeth ROOSE. Daughters name is Mary Ella MCCAIN Born May 7, 1911, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio Died December 20, 1988 Cincinnati, Hamilton County. Married to a Francis Edward SEITER. DOUGLASS - Seeking information on David DOUGLASS who stated in a Georgia Colonial Will that he was from Augusta, GA. It also said his wife name was Mary. But the will said he had children but don't list his children's names. David DOUGLASS died in 1763. I am looking for his children's names. There were 2 or 3 David DOUGLASS's in Georgia around the same time. The one I am looking for died earlier than the other. Any one that has information on this David and Mary DOUGLASS's children please contact me.

BRADFORD, McMILLIAN, CLAYTON - For years I have been researching Fielding BRADFORD (1789-1850) and his wife Mary McMILLIAN (1798-1875). He was a president of echanic's Bank in Augusta in 1833. He was later a cotton factor in Augusta, Athens, and Charleston SC with Edward Patrick CLAYTON, his son-in-law. He died in Gainesville GA and he and Mrs. BRADFORD are buried in Athens. I have just acquired his oil portrait painted by the famous painter Albert Capers Guerry (1840-1898(. The blank canvas was obtained from J. J. Browne, 135 Broad St., Augusta GA. The painting is dated 1868, 18 years after Fielding's death. Was Guerry panting in the area at the time? What do you know about J. J. Browne's establishment? Thanks for everything.

RUTLAND, SELLARS - I'm looking for info on the RUTLAND name. My grandfather was James RUTLAND and my grandmother was Alice SELLARS. I'm Irish and Indian but not sure of the tribe I'm desended from, Cherokee I think, and I verry much would like to know. ROYAL, GRIFFIN, JONES - Seeking information on my great grandfather John Wesley ROYAL 1868-1958 who was born in Burke County Georgia and married to Leila Mae GRIFFIN 1868-? John Wesley ROYAL was a policeman in Augusta (dates unknown) and moved to Jacksonville, Florida to live with his son Marion Albert ROYAL Sr. (1895-1964). GRAVES - I am descended through George William GRAVES, b.c. 1814 in Wilkes County, GA. He moved west into MS, and then into Wood County, TX by no later than 1860 (probably about 1858). DNA tests and traditional genealogy show that George W. GRAVES is related to James GRAVES, b.c. 1755 Lancaster, SC. Does anyone have information on George GRAVES, who was a doctor in Augusta in about 1797?

MILAM - My father is a son of George Floyd MILAM & Elizabeth (Bettie) MILAM (Raleigh Cty & Wyoming Cty, WV). George Floyd's father was Addison MILAM who was son of James M. MILAM. Betty was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth MILAM (who married Austin Webb)and was a daughter of George M. also a son of James M. MILAM; James M.'s father was Lewis MILAM, Sr; Lewis's father was James MILAM (DOB 1746-VA); James' father was John MILAM, Sr (DOB 1718). John & family started out in VA then moved to SC. Am looking for info on any in this line especially info on the SC MILAMs.

BLAND, O’CONNELL, MacGOWAN - My grandfather was Charles Armstrong BLAND, born in either Augusta, GA or Edgefield, SC, in 1867. He married Elizabeth O'CONNELL, and they had two surviving children. One, my uncle, born November 1894, was named Dorsey Cleckley BLAND. My mother, Mary Elizabeth Catherine MacGOWAN was born in December 1896 in Augusta, GA where the family lived for a time. I'd like to find their address from any city directory available. Would be delighted to find an address and see if there's still a house there. My grandfather's uncle may have been Frank or Francis BLAND. But it's not clear whether Frank was my grandfather's father or his uncle, and this is a further question I hope to resolve. I'm trying to locate the names of my grandfather’s birth parents (and the uncle). My grandfather's birthplace will be necessary to determine where to look for his birth record.
